This was the first radio of its kind in my collection, a beautiful wooden table radio
with strong Deco design, 17" wide by 11" high. It works beautifully, although the
lightbulb behind the dial needs replacing. I like sitting next to this one, listening
to old-time radio dramas on KNX-AM here in Los Angeles.
It never ceases to amaze me how something made the same year my mother was born could
still be in such great shape and working so well. (Um, sorry for giving your age away, Mom.)
