Okay, the other bands page is mostly to help turn on other folks to bands I think they should know about. For a simpler, less annotated answer to the question of "Hey Chuck, who are your all-time favorite bands?" Here they are. After the first few, these are not in any particular order.

    The best insurgent country-rock band ever ... who unfortunately broke up in 1994, but the good news is that two marvelous bands, Son Volt and Wilco emerged from the breakup.
