No, it's not The Alien bursting out of my body ...Relax, it's just a fried shrimp head! My friend Gregory Nussbaum took this right after I had ordered the sweet shrimp at Sushi on Brand in Glendale -- when you order this dish, you get the shrimp raw with the rice, wasabi and seaweed for the main sushi plate, and afterwards they fry up the head and bring it to you. My favorite part is the legs -- they get all crispy and crunchy. Mmmm!
