Purée the mangoes with the salt and lime juice until smooth. Combine with simple syrup and freeze.
- 6 ripe mangoes, peeled and seeded
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 cup simple syrup
YIELD: 5 cups, about 10 servings
